About

The Mental Faculty B.V. is a small Dutch software studio founded in 2006. We design and build careful, focused apps for Mac, iPad, and iPhone — tools intended to support thinking, learning, and writing.

We work small on purpose. Smaller teams ship more thoughtful software. We have always preferred a handful of well-considered features to a long list of half-finished ones.

Drew McCormack is the founder and lead developer. He lives and works in Amsterdam.
