Glisten is a podcast-based language learning app. This policy describes what data Glisten handles and how.

What stays on your device

• Your subscriptions to podcasts and your listening history
• Listening routines, progress, and preferences
• Notes and bookmarks you create
• Audio downloaded for offline listening

iCloud sync

If you sign in with your Apple ID, Glisten syncs your subscriptions, routines, and progress across your Apple devices via your private iCloud database. This data is associated with your Apple ID and visible only to you. We have no access.

Podcast content

Glisten plays podcasts hosted by their respective publishers. Audio is streamed or downloaded directly from those publishers. Glisten does not relay your listening behaviour to them beyond what is required to play their content.

Transcripts and translation

When you use transcripts and on-demand translation, the relevant text may be sent to a translation service to produce results. The text is processed and returned, not stored.

Subscriptions and payments

All paid subscriptions are handled by Apple. Glisten does not see your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID. We receive only the anonymous information Apple shares about active subscription status.

Information we do not collect

Glisten does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or trackers.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Your rights

• Disable iCloud sync from System Settings
• Delete your account data by uninstalling the app
• Cancel paid subscriptions through your Apple ID at any time

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
